Description
A minimalistic, cube-shaped tilting-wing ashtray, model “Smoke”, designed in 2003 by Arik Levy for Ligne Roset, France. Made of polished aluminum alloy, the piece features the embossed Ligne Roset signature inside the lid. In very good condition with only minor surface scratches consistent with age; the ashtray appears unused and looks considerably better in person than in the photos.
This elegant, sculptural design recalls Philippe Starck’s “Ray Hollis” ashtray, created for the Royalton Hotel / XO in 1986. A refined and collectible example of modern French design. Dimensions: 3.5 × 3.5 × 3.5 in (≈ 9 × 9 × 9 cm)
About Ligne Roset: Founded in 1860 in Briord, France, Ligne Roset is a global icon of modern French furniture and contemporary design. Known for the Togo sofa by Michel Ducaroy, the Ploum by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, and the Pumpkin by Pierre Paulin, the brand blends comfort, innovation, and timeless elegance. Collaborations with Arik Levy, Inga Sempé, Didier Gomez, and Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance highlight its creative vision. Every piece — from sofas and armchairs to lighting and accessories — is made in France with exceptional craftsmanship and sustainable materials. Ligne Roset continues to define contemporary French living through design, quality, and artistry. - More Information
