The crystal bodies are richly decorated with a variety of intricate cut patterns, including starbursts, and cross-cut diamonds. These surface treatments not only highlight the clarity of the glass but also showcase the remarkable precision and artistry of Baccarat’s craftsmen.
 
Embracing the vases are decorative ormolu mounts, designed in the naturalistic Art Nouveau fashion that was in vogue at the turn of the 20th century. Flowing botanical elements climb the shorter sides, forming layered petals that seem to grow organically along the vessel. The longer sides of the base feature a central foliate motif framed by subtle circular motifs.
