Description
On offer for your consideration we have a beautiful early Bing & Grøndahl Art Nouveau vase by Elizabeth Drewes Kofoed.
This rare and unusual vase was made in Denmark around 1899 and decorated with large white calla lilys and green leaves. Toward the base of vase between the leaves there is a unusual black satin metallic finish.
I have never sean this finish before on a piece of this kind of porcelain.
A rare and unique vase in its purest Art Nouveau form signed Eli Drewes. -
