Description
On offer for your consideration we have a Chinese hand carved yellow jade brush washer on a carved wood stand. This would have been used by a traditional scholar to clean they brushes while painting or writing. As you can see the yellow jade is beautifully carved with a folded inner opening which would have been very difficult to create. The color is absolutely stunning and surface feels wonderful to the touch.
Jade is 6.5"L x 3.75"W x 2"H, stand is 6.5"L x 2.75"W x 0.5"H, jade weight is 495 grams (17.54 oz). -
