Fine assortment of English 18th and 19th century turned wooden vessels comprising, from left to right, an 18th century turned Lignum Vitae vase ($750), a fine early 19th century turned pearwood spill vase, ex collection of A. J. Levi ($1,650), an 18th century turned walnut goblet. also ex collection of A.J. Levi ($2,400), an 18th century very finely turned laburnum cup with stem base ($1,450) and an 18th century turned ebony goblet ($650). All priced individually, but offered below as a collection. Size listed is for tallest vase. Shortest 5 1/4"
A. J. Levi, Author of "Treen for the Table," was himself one of the foremost collectors of treen of the second half of the 20th century. The two vases in this collection are illustrated in the above, #199 and #799. -
