Collection of three 19th century willow banded treen vessels comprising:
A Scottish firkin in mixed woods, alternating pine (light) and fruitwood (dark) having feather joints holding the staves together and bound with willow, Ex. Collection A.J. Levi, noted treen collector and scholar. (Collection label on underside).
A Swedish willow banded oak tobacco barrel with excellent color.
A Norwegian oak lidded pantry bin with shaped handle, tapering body with chip carved edge. -
