Douglas is the son of the world-renowned sculptor, Klaus Ihlenfeld. He mastered his craft under the supervision of his father and lived for many years on the Harry Bertoia family property where he was constantly surrounded by some of the most important 20th-century modernist sculptures ever produced. His work is the next chapter of that legacy.
