Description
An English mid-twentieth century semi-circular wirework plant stand. The semi-circular form was a popular configuration for wirework plant furniture of this period, designed to sit flush against a wall or in a bay window to maximize display space. The stand is constructed from twisted and bent wire in the manner typical of mid-century English wirework, the framework forming a tiered or shelved arrangement suited to displaying potted plants at varying heights. The surface retains its original finish in good condition with no breaks or repairs to the wire structure, an indication of careful use and storage. A practical and decorative piece well suited to a conservatory, greenhouse, or period interior.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions! -
