Description
An elegant French basket chandelier dating to the early 20th century, combining finely cast bronze ornament with a luminous arrangement of crystal beads. Three scrolling supports rise from the circular frame, meeting beneath a decorative suspension fitting and chain. The bronze gallery is richly embellished with floral rosettes, leafy garlands, ribbon bows, and classical detailing, creating a refined architectural border. Below, closely arranged strands of faceted crystal beads form a graceful rounded basket, beautifully diffusing the light and producing a warm, sparkling glow. The naturally aged bronze finish adds depth and character while complementing the brilliance of the crystals. Sophisticated yet wonderfully atmospheric, this chandelier would make a striking focal point in an entry hall, dining room, bedroom, dressing room, or intimate sitting area.
This is an antique and having been around for a long time, it will show signs of wear. Antique pieces have very much sought-after character and associated flaws. Please review photos for condition & contact us with questions!
