    Rare fractal resin sculpture by French artist François Godebski, created in France in 1973. Executed in translucent cast resin, the work takes the form of a sharply faceted obelisk whose geometric purity contrasts beautifully with the organic fractal-like formations suspended within the material.

    Subtle tones of cecidon green, and smoky translucency create remarkable depth and luminosity. Depending on the angle and light, the sculpture continuously shifts in appearance, revealing intricate textures and optical effects throughout the resin body.

    The precision of the faceted silhouette combined with the experimental material language places the work firmly within the radical French sculptural and design experimentation of the 1970s.
