Description
"Vaso a doppio cratere" - double crater vase; the Faenza based artist Guerrino Tramonti realized this kind of objects between 1965 and the early 1970s (see the similar pieces exposed at the Tramonti Museum in Faenza). This one, that is signed and dated 1967 is in a beautiful chartreuse colour, fading into white. The vase is glazed. Cracks and marks, not only on the surface, but also in the ceramic itself, depend on the cooking process and are, therefore, not to be considered as imperfections. Detailled pictures can be provided.
(see the recent exibition catalogue: Alchimie di terra e di luce, Edilet EdiLazio Letteraria, 2020). -
