Sculptural Italian valet designed by Fratelli Reguitti in the 1950s. This design is often mis-attributed to Ico Parisi, who used these valets for styling but never actually designed them.
Early example composed of a sculptural stained mahogany 'x' frame with hanger and change or cufflink holder all supported by a trestle base with double rack for shoes and four caster wheels for easy mobility. The retractable top bar on the frame's extension is intended for hanging scarves, ties, or pants.
Mahogany is in good, original condition retaining its original, deep stain, showing only light wear consistent with use/age. Metal bars on shoe rack show wear and tarnish.
Branded 'FR Made in Italy Internat. Patent."
Valet will be completely dismantled for parcel shipping. Light assembly will be required on the receiving end unless in-home delivery or NYC pickup is specified.
