Description
Walnut Studio Craft single pedestal desk by renowned painter and sculptor, Richard Artschwager, who designed a small collection of furniture in New York City in 1953. These pieces are scarce, as production and scope of design were exceedingly limited.
Composed of three drawers to the left side (one shallow and two standard) with slender legs on the right side supported by a stretcher. Finished by sculpted flat pulls (one of two examples of drawer pull Artschwager designed).
Newly refinished condition; light wear remains (few surface scuffs and two small veneer fills). Overall, very nice, vintage condition.

The open space for a desk chair H: 25.25" (to lowest part of apron) x L: 35.13"
