Large decorative Murano glass vase, made in Venice, Italy in the late 20th century, entirely mouth-blown and hand-crafted using traditional Venetian glassmaking techniques. The vase is extensively worked with colorful overlapping murrine and several layers of blown glass, combined with the bullicante technique, where large controlled bubbles are trapped within the glass mass to create depth and a remarkable textured effect.
