Absolutely stunning, late 19th century golden Loetz Witwe glass vase, adorned by the so-called "Candia Papillon" decoration out of Bohemia around 1898. This very rare version of the famous rose water sprinkler vase impresses with its extraordinary coloration and execution of the Candia Papillon theme. A real masterpiece of Bohemian glass art from the world-famous company of Loetz Witwe in Klostermuehle - Bohemia. Shimmering in stunning gold, and iridescent shades of yellow, silver, light purple and slight turquoise tones, this eyecatching collector´s gem from the renowed Lötz workshops comes in perfect original condition.
