    Oiva Toikka (1931-2019) was a Finnish master glass designer and ceramist, working for Arabia Oy And Nuutajärven Lasitehdas. Toikka produced some of the most iconic designs in Finnish glass history. Known best for his variety of glass birds. His distinct style is very vibrant, colorful and playful. For his long standing career and efforts as a glass designer, he was recognized with the Pro- Finlandia Award, Kaj Franck- Award and the Prince Eugene- Medal.

    Toikka's works can be found in numerous museums and private collections worldwide.
