An incredibly rare trio of candlesticks, model 8024, designed by Paavo Tynell & manufactured by Oy Taito AB. These early designs from the 1920s -1930s represent Tynell's exquisite craftsmanship & fascination with nature. Made from gorgeous white tin, these candlesticks are in very good condition, with perfect patina. Each bears the distinguished stamp of OY TAITO AB. Offered as a set of three. Highly collectible!

Paavo Tynell (1890-1973) was an industrial designer, known as the great pioneer of Finnish lighting design, known as “the man who illuminated Finland”. A master craftsman himself, Tynell’s designs were derivative of a traditional aesthetic with a modern sensibility. Marked by delicacy and softness, his most famous forms echo the structures of nature & are some of the most sought-after items in today's market. -
