    Each stamped "J. Stimson 26 Boston", this fully original and intact pair of ball-topped tier turned andirons have diminutive brass log stops of the same form. Stimson was among our country's three leading brassiers; along with Hunneman and Whittingham. Positional configuration of the pair is of course optional; depending upon log and hearth size.

Five decades of antiques collecting experience in a succession of Historic Register homes in Virginia, New York, and Connecticut; and a 1901 beaux arts building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Open Thursday through Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
