A stunning pair of 19th Century urn-form planters with lion iconography, made in England. This oversized pair will command the attention of anyone who sees them. The vessels are ornamented with regal lion heads, holding a swag of fabric in their mouths which is also looped through carved rings. These stately planters would impress as they are or could be planted with flowers and/or greenery for an even bigger impact. Placed about the garden or flanking an entrance, this pair is sure to elevate your status as a gardener! Be sure to view the detailed photos for a look at their current condition. Please note the edges of the stone in various places have been chipped over the years, to be expected with the age and environmental conditions.
