Description
English, ca. 1850
This form of lion was modeled after the Medici lions with one paw resting on a sphere, standing on a rectangular, molded-edge plinth. Wonderful to find them in pairs, especially when both are in great condition.
Dimensions: 8 1/4" h x 11 1/4" w; 8 5/8" h. x 12 1/4" w. -
