A wonderfully bright and colourful 'Portaombrelli' (Umbrellas) trompe l'oeil umbrella stand by the incomparable Piero Fornasetti. One of Piero's most sought-after designs, the 'Portaombrelli' first appeared in the early 1950s, with this example, numbered '3', coming from a limited production in 1992. The umbrella stand retains its original drip tray and rectangular paper label on the reverse.
