In 1927, he was awarded a Medal of honor for his outstanding contributions to the arts. His lifelong collaborator and best friend, Max Le Verrier, cast many—if not all—of his pieces through the Le Verrier Foundry, ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
