Description
On offer for your consideration we have a stunning large ceramic umbrella stand.
This stand was made in England by Royal Doulton in Burslem with a date mark of 1890. The style in England, Europe and America was called Japonisme, this was one of several influences that was used from furniture, glass, porcelain, fabrics, jewelry and metal work. Japonism or Orientalism in design dates from 1870-1900.
This amazing large ceramic umbrella stand is in a cream color ironstone with rust color transfers of wild flowers and Japanese geometric pattern similar to what you would find on a Japanese Kimono. Now you have a fabulous piece to hold your umbrellas. -
