Swiss Kitchen Diorama
-
Description
A large hand-made model of a Swiss kitchen circa 1910, in a walled surround with canted corners and turned feet, having exquisitely detailed furniture, appliances and fittings crafted of pewter, iron, copper, ceramics and wood to scale, including some food items. With lovely cerulean blue painted walls and a chequerboard tile floor and all the latest mod-cons for 1910, this is a dream kitchen for anyone who is 9 inches tall. An extremely rare piece of folk-art, perhaps made as salesman sample diorama for an interior decorator.
