Description
Toni Zuccheri attended the faculty of architecture in Venice under the guidance of Gardella, Albini, Scarpa and Samonà.
He began collaborating with VENINI in the 1960s: his first glass works, following the family tradition, were animals made of polychrome glass with precious techniques, such as "murrine".
In 1965 he began to collaborate with Gio Ponti, together with whom he designed a new stained glass system, the "Vetrate Grosse". Later, he expanded his glass production with new colors and subjects, participating in numerous exhibitions around the world.
Here we have a Vase in orange glass and crystal from the "Tronchi" Series designed by Toni Zuccheri and produced by Venini in the 1976.
The vase is in very good condition and fully original: as you can see in the photo there's presence of the label "Venini Italia". -
