Traditional Indian exotic silver keepsake box. Wide and low with lobed sides; cover hinged and flat with. Rests on 4 peg supports. Chased and engraved leafing scrollwork and pierced diaper in scrolled and heart-shaped frames. Cover top has raised rondel with central flower and pierced leaves and berries in radiating curvilinear frames; gadrooned and wavy borders. Underside has plain projecting rondel with radiating gadroons and leaf-and-dart border. Cast leafing scroll hasp for locking away precious keepsakes.

Unmarked. Very good condition.
