Description
This English three-tier wrought iron bell stand, or Latten Bells, has an ornamental scroll design in the leather belfry and a rustic finish suited to interiors, patios, or gardens. The bells can function decoratively or as a light chime. Stands like this used original late 19th-century Latten bells and mounted them on ironwork that combined utility with decorative flair. They were often used in homes, farmhouses, or inns as dinner bells or entry chimes. Wear consistent with age and use. 30"w x 16.5"d x 59"h.
