Description
Nowadays we can see geometric pattern carpets made of various materials, from cotton to hemp, however, this unique piece was hand woven using goat hair, which is well known for great durability. Such contemporary rug is bound to serve you faithfully for years to come and thanks to its design you will not grow bored of it! The pattern immediately draws the eye thanks to its elegant simplicity. Several stripes are mixed with crisscrossed lines achieved by differences in the height of the pile. The whole is accompanied by simple, yet deep color palette. Black and walnut brown balance each other out perfectly all while helping to highlight the beauty of the original design. With such a wonderful piece of art you can't go wrong! Contemporary rug designs can be inspired by mid century modern area rugs, antique carpets, or by relevant works of art, yet are usually executed with a more modern twist, either in the pattern or the color palette. Many of our modern rugs and contemporary beautiful rugs were shaped by top designers and architects exclusive to the Doris Leslie Blau Gallery. Doris Leslie Blau carries an exceptional collection of original modern rugs in many styles and materials. Contemporary hand-made rugs are a bridge throughout history, they are the fruit of the constant evolution of the weaving craft that has accompanied men since the dawn of civilization.
