'DIANA AND HER BOW' AUBUSSON TAPESTRY FRAGMENT, MID 18TH CENTURY
Small Aubusson tapestry fragment depicting the Greek goddess of hunting, Diana, with her bow in a wooded landscape.
With a single edged blue border, woven in wook and silk. France, c. 1760.
Mounted on a stretcher covered in linen.
