Antique French Silver Wine Taster Tastevin, C.1845, Eugene Ferdinand Rion, Minerva head 1st std .950. The test de vin of usual form, the lower part of bowl with a surround of concave and swirl lobate style decoration, ribbed thumb piece handle. Marked on handle and bowl and handle with maker’s mark in lozenge and Minerva head. Diameter: 3.06 inches; Length: 4 inches; Weight: 64.50 grams.
