Arthur Espenet Carpenter Teak Bowl with Utensils, 1957
United States, circa 1950s
A finely hand-turned teak bowl by renowned California woodworker Arthur Espenet Carpenter, accompanied by original matching utensils—a fork and spoon—carved from the same richly grained teak. The underside of the bowl bears Carpenter’s incised signature and is dated '57.
This sculptural set is a striking example of mid-century American craft, reflecting Carpenter’s mastery of form and material.

Bowl: 12 in. diameter x 6 in. high x 0.25 in. thick (approx.)
Fork and Spoon: Each 14 in. long x 4 in. wide
Good vintage condition, hairline 3" rift secure, natural wear consistent with age and use. -
