This beautifully designed Mid-Century Modernist patinated brassl Teardrop Dish was made by the esteemed artist Carl Aubock and originates from Austria, Circa 1950. Featuring a construction in black patination with exposed polished brass circumscribing the edge of the piece, the oblong composition leads to an oval form opening, creating an excellent directionality and subtle detailing to this remarkable dish. The dish is raised subtly by the downward slope of its most narrow point, gently touching the surface and creating a sense of gravity and elegance.
