    On offer for your consideration we have a stunning set of 8 Dolflinger American Brilliant Period cut glass water goblets in their Hob Diamond pattern.

    This pattern was introduced in 1874 for President Ulysses S. Grant who first ordered them for use in his daughter Netties wedding at the White House in 1874, with replacement pieces ordered in 1876 and 1880, some with the U.S.G cipher and some without the cipher.

    Very rarely do you ever come across a set of such high quality and by one of the most important glass makers in American Christian Dorflinger.

    The Dorflinger glass works created unique table services for such American presidents (Lincoln, Grant, Harrison, Roosevelt, Wilson) in their terms at the White House as Presidents of United States.
