Description
George II sterling silver mug. Made Thomas Tearle in London in 1735. Baluster bowl with leaf-capped double-scroll handle and spread raised foot. Later ornament in form of chased and engraved scrolls, flowers, and scallop shells on stippled ground. Scrolled frame (vacant). Fully marked. Very good condition with deep patina.
