Description
On offer for your consideration we have an extraordinary MCM German sterling silver bowl.
This biomorphic centerpiece shows the graceful smooth clean form of a master silversmith which was hand hammered into a totally new modern design reflecting the mew modern period of the 1950's.
The hallmarks struck to the underside of the bowl includes:
Maker's mark: Icon for Gottlieb Kurz.
Mark: 173/4.
Silver quality or purity mark: 925 (925/1000, sterling).
National mark: Crescent moon and crown.
This piece will work in any interior both traditional and modern. -
