    Pair of George III sterling silver goblets. Made by Henry Chawner and John Eames in London in 1796. Each: Ovoid bowl on upward tapering stem flowing into raised foot. Reeded knop and foot rim. Engraved coat of arms. Gilt-washed interior. Dating from the silversmiths’ two-year partnership. Chalice-size for an austerely stylish ceremony. Fully marked. Very good condition.
