Early 19th century Iznik pottery jug or pitcher with an extremely delicate spout and handle. The brilliant cobalt blue floral motif is a classic design and color seen on Iznik pottery. The first examples of Iznik pottery date back the 15th century and there is a rich history surrounding these special pieces. Iznik is an island located off the coast of Turkey.
