A pristine Art Deco Streamlined Champagne Cooler, bearing Christofle’s signature and the silversmith’s marks on the bottom,. Crafted from lustrous silver-plate, it features “speed lines” at the base. This impeccably clean and flawless piece would make a perfect gift. Today,Christofle maintains a global presence with stores and sales worldwide. This piece designed in 1930, is no longer in production today.
Established in 1830, Maison Christofle inaugurated its factory in Normandy, France. As it approached its 100th Anniversary , the company embraced a notably modern design direction, engaging talents like Christian Fjerdingstadt, the Danish artist credited with ushering Christofle into the Art Deco period. At the prestigious Paris Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, the company showcased its creations in a stunning pavilion and garden, shared with Baccarat, renowned for crystal and glasswork. This event propelled the name Christofle to international acclaim.
