Description
Pair of English antique glass ship decanters with stoppers
English, Early 20th Century
Height 24cm, diameter 18cm
A pair of very fine English antique glass ship decanters, these pieces were made in England in the early part of the twentieth century. A very closely matching pair, they are wonderful pieces to store and serve spirits or other liqueurs, elegantly decorated with bands of concentric circles and ridge-cut bases. They rise in pyramidal shape to a pair of stoppers, circular in shape and ridge cut like the decanter bases. Fine antique pieces, they are reminiscent of maritime voyage and life at sea, and make for charming, quaint, and enjoyable home glassware additions. -
