Charming silvered brass bowl/ centerpiece from the early Art Nouveau era in Austria. Elaborately made by the company of JL Herrmann in Vienna/ Austria around 1910 - which was also a purveyor to the Austrian K&K court - this artfully crafted silverplated centerpiece impresses with an amazing design and reflects the typical form language of this wellknown period. Slight abrasions all over this antique silvered bowl/ centerpiece show parts of the shining brass body which gives it a very nice, unique charme and finalizes the great look of this early 20th century Art Nouveau centerpiece. Coming in great original condition with a nice patina, this antique, decorative Art Nouveau bowl or centerpiece is hallmarked with the renowed "JL Herrmann" logo (with standing lion) on the base.
