Outstanding, late mid century modern glass bowl/ centerpiece from the 1970s in Germany. Painter and glass artist J.H. Richartz artfully designed this breathtaking piece of glass art for the art collection of the famous manufactory of "Mathildenhütte" in Solingen. The mesmerizing patterns in those shining turquoise, green and brown tones search for its equal and confers this mid century glass bowl an absolute unique look as well as this special kind of maritime charm. A highly decorative, eyecatching mouthblown glass centerpiece from the 1970s which comes in perfect original condition. Signed "Richartz art collection" on the clear base.
