Description
This modernist tea/coffee service for eight, designed by Tania Bulhões and crafted in Brazil during the 20th century, exemplifies refined sophistication and masterful design. The set is rendered in off-white porcelain, elegantly accented with gilt detailing along the rims of the cups and the edges of the plates and saucers, adding a luxurious yet subtle brilliance.
A highlight of this service is the tea/coffee pot, featuring a beautifully formed bamboo handle. The natural texture and organic elegance of the bamboo provide a striking contrast to the porcelain’s smooth finish, while the pot’s sculptural form enhances the modernist aesthetic. Thoughtfully proportioned and adorned with elegant minimal details across all pieces, this set is as practical as it is visually captivating.
Each component of the service is signed by Tania Bulhões on its undersurface, underscoring its authenticity and connection to the designer’s celebrated legacy. Designed to serve eight, this set is perfect for entertaining or as a centerpiece for any collection, seamlessly blending contemporary design with timeless allure. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
