Kitchen knife by Werkstätten Carl Auböck with stainless steel blade and wrapped cane handle. The long, gently tapered blade contrasts with the warm, ribbed grip, creating the characteristic balance of utility and sculptural form found in Auböck workshop designs. The handle is wrapped in natural rattan over a metal core, giving a tactile surface and a subtle decorative rhythm, while the blade remains plain and functional. The combination of industrial material and hand-applied finish reflects the workshop’s typical mix of craftsmanship and modern simplicity. Marked AUBÖCK – AUSTRIA – Rostfrei on the blade; light wear consistent with age and use. The total length is 26,5cm, the blade is 17cm the handle is 1,5cm high and 1,3cm wide.
