Description
A French handwoven vertical tapestry from the 19th century, with soft muted colors and floral décor, lined and backed with a hanging sleeve. This exquisite French tapestry features a tall Silhouette, beautifully adorned with floral motifs standing out on a cream background. The scene is surrounded by a series of scrolls that create a natural frame to the ensemble. The center of the composition is focused on a delicate urn, from which spring out various volutes, foliage and flowers. The delicacy of this design is accented by the soft muted colors made of browns, light pink and green tones. The tapestry is lined and backed with a hanging sleeve. With its tall proportions and exquisite décor, this French 19th century tapestry will bring a touch of warm elegance to any home.
