Description
Accent pillows add character to any piece of furniture and can be used to increase the aesthetic value of a room. They serve both an aesthetic and a functional purpose, and in this case, the former function is especially strong.
Even among accent pillows, geometric ones, like this pyramid-shaped model, are the most successful in bringing visual interest to an otherwise understated piece of furniture. This pillow’s shape is a strong, three-dimensional pyramidoid, which stands out beautifully on flat surfaces such as a sofa or daybed. Pillows like this one are a smart choice for mid-century pieces like our neutral or plain white Scandinavian sofas, where there is plenty of space for creativity. The understated design of mid-century pieces are the perfect blank canvases for accent pillows, as they allow the shape and colour to stand out. Vice versa, an accent pillow like this one enhances the design of any model without overpowering it. The importance of decorative pillows is not just aesthetic. They bring comfort to a home, and while they are relatively small accessories, the difference a well-chosen pillow can make is tremendous.
One might not realize it, but decorative, or accent pillows are among the most important home accessories. Pillows are the easiest and fastest way to transform or accentuate an entire home decor. This white coloured pillow’s interesting shape and texture are perfect to achieve these goals.
