This is an original mixed medium storyboard drawing for the 1940 RKO film “Men Against the Sky.” This RKO film featured the famous Howard Hughes H1 Racer which held the world speed record for transcontinental flight. The story board artist, Charles Pyke later went on to become the art director for many RKO westerns.
