Description
An exquisite set of three English circa 1840 shellwork pictures in original giltwood frames composed of various Caribbean or West Indian seashells depicting fanciful designs of a foliated pomegranate, an Italianate temple and urn, and an ambiguous papilio or foliate design, all within 'rosette' corner block borders. A very rare and exceptional set.
