“The Corner “ is the title of this boxing themed painting by noted California artist, Fletcher Martin. Although boxing was a favorite theme of Fletcher Martin’s, today his boxing paintings are scarce. Most of Fletcher Martin’s boxing themed oil paintings are in private collections and museums. Executed in 1962, “The Corner” is one of Fletcher Martin’s most powerful images. This oil on canvas retains it’s original frame. It is in fine condition.
