-
Description
Beautiful oil painting on canvas of three peasant women gleaning a wheat field after the harvest of wheat. Two large mounds of wheat are in the background as well as a wagon with horses carrying the wheat. There is a man on horseback surveying the scene. Painted in the 1940s by Paul Graziano presumably a artist who perhaps went to Paris to view the original painting by Jean-Francois Millet 1857 at the Musee' D' Orsay.
