Leonardo Nierman was born 1932 in Mexico City. He is a leader in Modern Mexican Art, Leonardo Nierman creates paintings of abstract landscapes that are highly colorful and full of motion and velocity as though propelled by music. In 1972, he had a major exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City and from the time has had exhibition venues throughout the world including the U.S., Italy, Israel, Australia, Spain, and Japan. The record for the artist which was 6 years ago was $36,900 for a very similar painting in style however it was smaller (30" by 22.5").
